I like time management games but I found this one to be a little confusing at first. The instructions they give you at first seem so simple: collect your stuffing and material for your toy, put them on the conveyor belt, push the button to make the toy, get a box, put the toy in the box, tape it up and put it on a pallet. But when the game starts, you have to make different toys requiring different amounts of stuffing and such and if you don't complete them in time you have to start over. I haven't made it past the first level yet! It just seems to me that it moves too fast (or maybe I'm getting too slow). I've played other games like Cake Mania and Diner Dash and the Delicious games and never found any of them to run this fast. I will try it again - maybe it just takes practice.

The platinum edition has a button at the top of the screen with a built-in walk-through which I didn't use, but did check out. (The clues in the pictures were a little hard to see.) But frankly the Hints button does a pretty good job of helping you along, which isn't always true in games. Likewise, the storyline does a good job of guiding you through the tasks, which are interesting and fairly easy to complete.

I really liked most of this game. Some of the effects, like hidden objects disappearing in black smoke, were very nice. The world you entered was also well enough constructed that you felt you were there. The HO scenes were relatively easy, but it wasn't one of those games where you bounced from HO scene to HO scene. A lot of the game was more closely associated with an adventure game with HO scenes thrown in. I thought the mini-games were mostly very easy except for the star chart game. I had no clue what I was supposed to do and had to fool with it awhile before I figured it out. The dialogue was poor, but there wasn't much of it. The eastern European countries are putting out better games, but they still haven't learned to hire someone who speaks English well to fill in the dialogue. But in this case, since there was so little dialogue, it was only mildly annoying. I thought the game pulled you along fairly well, giving you enough clues to let you know what you needed to do. I confess I didn't know I needed a poisoned arrow, but there was no head on the arrow I found, so I figured I had to create it in the lab. The poison part took care of itself. The only place I was really at a loss was the ending. After I chose a "doorway" I was flung back, but I didn't know what I was supposed to do next. The fellow I met said to try again, but gave no hints as to what needed to be done. I finally, at the very end, resorted to a walk-through to figure out what I needed to do. But overall, this game was very engaging and a pleasant 2-3 hour diversion.

Same crisp pictures and game plan as other POPCAP HOGs. But with a spooky twist--fantastic and imaginative. Almost a take-off on some of the dark spooky HO adventures.

This game can become very addictive as you try to keep things stocked for the customers while meeting all their other needs. The levels provide a good challenge as you move along. You are able to hire help when you pay to update some of your items. My only BIG problem with the game is one of the assistance I hired doesn't do her job at the counter which leaves me having to run over and take care of her customers while she stands there and chews bubble gum. I don't know if this is a bug in the game or not. I know it is annoying, since the other assistance work great.

Well, I am a bit younger than the person who wrote previously since I am "only" 68, and I just love the cute Turtle, it is SO addictive. When Turtle has to jumb over something, I am jumping in my chair just to get over :-) I downloaded it a couple of years ago but now I started playing it again.

The only reason I gave it four stars is because revisiting the same rooms can become tedious, but it didn't impact the game play so much that I would consider it detrimental to the game on the whole. If you enjoy hidden object games or even if you're a time-management gamer looking for a fun change of pace, I would give this game a try.
